Help a Neighbor Out Solar Initiative

“Help a Neighbor Out” brings businesses, organizations and community members together around environmental education, environmental justice, renewable energy and delivers a program that provides a discounted rate for residential solar panel systems while galvanizing the community to “Help a Neighbor Out.” The goal is to educate residents on the financial and environmental benefits of solar. Through the “Help a Neighbor Out” campaign, when 20 residential solar panel systems are installed within this program, Encon will donate a solar panel system to Habitat for Humanity’s Stratford build on Evelyn Street. Additional residential solar installations will result in a donation to Stratford’s Conservation Commission to be used for educational workshops and for the “Green More Forest to Shore” tree planting initiative.
